E700-LB

ASD Long Bend is a long-radius 90° bend used in aspirated smoke detection (ASD) systems. It connects two 25 mm pipe sections at a right angle, but with a much smoother and wider curve than a standard elbow. This makes airflow through the bend more stable and less restricted.

The E700‑LB is a long-radius 90-degree bend designed for use in aspirated smoke detection (ASD) systems. It connects two 25 mm rigid pipe sections at a right angle but does so with a broader curve than standard elbows. This reduces resistance in the airflow, helping to maintain stable vacuum pressure throughout the network.

It’s ideal for systems where sharp turns could cause pressure drops, especially in longer runs or complex layouts. The larger internal curve allows air to flow more smoothly around the bend, supporting accurate and consistent smoke sampling across all connected zones.

The E700‑LB is made from fire-rated PVC and is installed using standard solvent-welding techniques. It is often used in ceiling voids, risers, and control rooms where performance and layout flexibility are critical.
