E700-P
This a rigid PVC pipe used in aspirated smoke detection (ASD) systems. It acts as the main transport channel that carries air samples from different sampling points (or capillaries) back to the detector unit. The ASD pipe is a key part of the vacuum based detection network, helping the system monitor smoke across a wide area — from ceiling spaces to server racks or storage zones.
Advanced Technology Products are proud to only supply the highest quality products for your Aspirated Smoke Detector Sampling Network requirements.
For optimum performance, an aspirating smoke detection system needs a well designed and installed quality pipework system.
The pipe is made of a UPVC material which is white in color and is labeled with “Fire Detection System – Do Not Paint” along the run of the pipe for easy distinguishing.
Sold in bundles of 10 or can be sold separately.

The E700‑P is a 4-metre rigid PVC pipe used to build the main structure of aspirated smoke detection (ASD) systems. It serves as the primary pathway that transports sampled air from various collection points back to the smoke detector.
Its smooth internal surface helps maintain consistent airflow, ensuring accurate readings at the detector. The pipe is made from white fire-rated uPVC and comes pre-printed with “Fire Detection System” to make identification during installation and maintenance straightforward.
Because it comes in 4 m lengths, it reduces the number of joins required in the system. This helps limit pressure drops and potential leak points, making it easier to design systems that meet airflow and sensitivity requirements.
