ASD Trunk Adaptor (This is the main body that connects directly to the 25 mm aspirating pipe. It acts as the interface between the large trunk pipe and the capillary connections.)

Function: Connects 25 mm aspirating pipe to capillary tube sampling points

The E700‑TA is a core component of aspirated smoke detection systems, acting as the interface between 25 mm ASD trunk pipe and remote capillary sampling points. It includes one or more 1/4″ BSP female-threaded ports that accept the E700‑CSC capillary tube connectors.

Once installed, the adaptor allows capillary tubes to draw air samples from difficult or enclosed areas and deliver them back to the main detection pipe for analysis. This is critical in applications such as equipment enclosures, high racking, or air return plenums.

Constructed from durable PVC, the E700‑TA offers long-term reliability in both industrial and commercial environments. It forms part of a fully matched range of ASD pipework and fittings, designed for fast installation and consistent performance.
