E700-Y

ASD Y Splitter (In ASD systems, each pipe segment must maintain proper vacuum to draw air through the sampling holes or capillary tubes. The E700-Y allows the installer to branch one trunk pipe into two while preserving suction and airflow balance.)

Advanced Technology Products are proud to only supply the highest-quality products for your Aspirated Smoke Detector Sampling Network requirements.

For optimum performance, an aspirating smoke detection system needs a well-designed and installed quality pipework system.

ATP’s ASD Pipe and Fittings range fulfils this requirement by creating lightweight and versatile products that have been specially developed to provide fully matched components for the optimal performance of your whole Aspirated Smoke Detection System.

The E700-Y is a Y-shaped fitting used in aspirated smoke detection (ASD) systems to create a clean, dual branch junction in a 25 mm pipe network. It enables installers to divide a single airflow path into two, supporting system layouts that require multiple sampling zones from a single detection unit.

The Y-splitter is used when two separate areas—such as adjacent rooms or parallel cabinet rows—need to be served by a single ASD detector. It provides a balanced airflow route to both branches, helping maintain consistent vacuum levels and sampling rates.

Constructed from durable, fire-rated PVC, the E700-Y integrates easily with the rest of the E700-series fittings. It is designed for use with solvent cement to create an airtight, permanent seal. This ensures the pipework remains leak free and efficient over time, even in demanding commercial or industrial environments.
