The Challenge
This project presented unique challenges, along with the scale of the ask, there was a need for custom-designed firefighting equipment as well as attentive management of the complexities of integrating this equipment into the existing infrastructure.
The main hurdles presented in ensuring overall project management, maintaining stringent quality control over subcontractor work as well as ongoing reorientation and relationship building with coordinating multiple lead engineers due to high turnover at the client’s end.
The Objective
ATP’s primary goal was to maintain the integrity of the client’s safety standards in design and supply of comprehensive wet firefighting systems, encompassing hydrants, pipe rises, and modifications to existing piping lines for this new site to become operational.
The second part of this project included fabricating two skid packages from scratch, incorporating a foam system, and customising parts to fit specific requirements.
